How to save money on Thanksgiving!

Ive always had money issues when thanksgiving came around. Using these simple tips, you could have a nice thanksgiving while keeping your budget at a minimum for other occasions like christmas.

LOOKING FOR SALES!!!!
Check for ads and sales at grocery stores constantly to get the best deals possible. MAKE SURE you dont just check one store because their is almost always a better deal somewhere else. Try to buy all the canned food early so your no hurting for money later in the month. Some veggies can be bought early as well and be frozen but be cautious because some veggies will perish if frozen and you will end up not saving money at all! If you can, ask guests to bring food. This can be a big help and if your lucky could half the amount of food you have to buy. Try to make what you can from scratch. This definitly includes pies! A simple place to look for ads are on the side of pages like the ones on the left side of this page. Many seem to be misleading at first look but some are potentialy good places to start looking for sales and cheap products.
MAKE WHAT YOU NEED!
More often than not you will end up with tons of lefovers at Thanksgiving that most of the time get thrown out. Avoid making too much food but dont make it so theirs not enough. The best way to do this is to plan it out thoroughly and take guesses at how much each of your guests will eat.
BIGGER IS BETTER!
Remember that the more people that are their dont necessarily mean that it will cost more! If everybody were to bring at least one item for the dinner, most likely over half the dinner would be taken care of! This can be a life saver and is probrably the best way to keep the wallets from being empty!
